About the event
Linear Economy dictates that we follow the principle of take, make, and dispose. Raw materials and resources are used to prepare products that generate persisting waste. However, the circular economy model closes the gap between the production and the natural ecosystems’ cycles. Resources used to make products are introduced back into the production cycle instead of resulting in waste.
This TDTM discussion series aims to simplify the concept of circular economy and make it accessible to all. We aim to talk about ways in which we can eliminate waste by either transforming it, reusing it, remanufacturing and recycling it among other ways. We will be joined by Sustainability Expert Misha Sakina Haroon.
Misha Sakina is a graduate from Utrecht University in BSc Global Sustainability Sciences from Pakistan. During her studies, she focused on the Energy and Governance aspect of sustainability. She loves to learn/unlearn/relearn things related to environment. She is also very passionate about environmental sustainability and really enjoys discussing it with others.
